From A&D Cigars to Selenne
Selenne Cigars was founded in the Dominican Republic in August 2020 by Antonio and Dariana Washington. The company began under the name A&D Cigars, a simple expression of partnership and purpose.
When their daughter Selenne was born, the mission became even more personal. The name Selenne became a symbol of legacy, family, and the kind of brand you build with your name on it. In March 2022, the U.S. company was officially formed to serve customers in the United States while keeping the craft rooted in Dominican tradition.

Antonio Washington
Antonio holds a degree in International Business and Marketing. That foundation shapes how Selenne approaches quality, branding, and customer experience. The goal is simple: deliver a premium product and a premium buying experience, every time.
Dariana Washington
Dariana, a native Dominican, brings the bridge between languages and cultures. With a strong grasp of English and Spanish and deep knowledge of Dominican culture, she keeps the brand connected to its roots while helping it speak clearly to customers in the U.S.
How We Make Our Cigars
Every Selenne cigar is made with carefully selected tobaccos and built with attention to detail. Each cigar is inspected with consistency in mind: construction, draw, and finish. We do not rush production. We focus on the details that matter when the cigar is finally lit.
